This is the microphone and podcasting setup I use when I do podcasts or other recordings:
Mic: MB 3k/c Handheld Unidirectional Dynamic Vocal Microphone with Cable.
Pop Filter: On Stage Stands Pop Blocker
Headphones: The Creative HQ-1400 Stereo Headphones.
Mixer/Audio Interface: M-Audio MobilePre USB.
Stand: The Euroboom from On-Stage Stands, or for Travel, the Heavy-Duty Mic Adapter from Radio Shack or the mic clip that came with the microphone and Desk Mic Stand from Radio Shack or the
Cables: A Gig Lines female XLR to male 1/4 stereo cable, a Monster male 1/4 to 1/4 stereo cable to a 3.5mm adapter, a Gig Lines XLR to XLR cable, and USB from MobilePre USB to computer cable. *
Travel: Rocketfish USB PC Gaming Headset with Microphone or I will just bring certain vital parts of my setup including the travel stand configuration listed above.
*I do not use all of the cables listed in the cable section above at one time. I use certain cables for certain recording jobs.
