Technology
This is my technology page. Here I will list the latest gadgets and more here. So far there is nothing here yet. I plan to list something about the new iPod family, the all new iMac (which I have), Mac v.s. PC, and iPhone updates.
Shuffle-The new iPod Shuffle is very nice, but also very small. It holds up to around 240 songs in assorted colors. It costes less than the other iPods but it has no screen. It uses flash memory so it can take big bumps with out messing up. That means it is good for running, snowboarding or skiing, and any other sport or active hobbie.
Nano-The new iPod Nano is very cool, just like all the other iPods. It plays videos for the first time on the nano. It uses hard disk memory, has a screen, and looks great (just like all the other iPods). It does have a porblem with the TV tuner. iPod classics and Nanos no longer work with older third-party TV out cables and docks. You must upgrade.
Classic-The new iPod Classic, holding more songs than ever, is now availible. Videos, photos, and music can be loaded onto it. It has up to 160 gigibytes, which is more than one of my computers came with.
Touch-The new iPod Touch, is just like an iPhone exept with out email, the phone, and the other computer features. It does have WiFi abilities though. If you get a wireless network, you can use Safari. It has a flash memory storage system, with up to 16 gigabytes of flash. It has a touch screen to navigate through your music library instead of the clickwheel.
I do not have an iPod. I have a Creative Labs Zen MicroPhoto. It is just like the old iPod nano. With 8 gigabytes of storage on a hard disk, it stores music, photos, it has an fm tuner, a microphone to record directly to the player, and an organizer. To select on screen items, you use the touch pad which is like the click wheel, but more of a labeled heat sensitive pad.
