I used to think that the iPod battery meter only displayed a green bar to show how much power I have left and a red bar when I am running low, but the other day when I was playing an iPod Game, the battery started to run low. I exited out of the game and began listening to music. When the song I was listening to ended, I lit up the screen to see what song was next. I noticed the battery meter and saw it wasn’t red or green. It was orange, so I guess the battery meter turns green, orange, and then red. That’s a pretty nice feature.

hey joey I’m thinking of doing a linux podcast.
let me know what you think about it.
Is there a battery meter that can be downloaded to a computer for the shuffle? You only get the blinking lights and no idea as to what the precise status is…
Jay: I have searched around and I haven’t found a meter in application form for the iPod Shuffle, however I have posted a question on Yahoo! Answers. If someone answers that question I will let you know.
Jay: The result of my question on Yahoo! Answers was 1 answer saying that the point of an iPod Shuffle is to have a screen-free, simple operation. I will continue to look for an alternative to viewing the battery power on a Shuffle. If I find something, I will leave a comment here, or if you leave your email, or email me your email, I can contact you there.
